Not a bad night apart from a session around 3.00 am when I needed pain relief and couldn’t get it.
Woke up feeling better again and was told I could go home once my medication was sorted out and the Doctor had signed me out.
Chat with rapid recovery nurse about what to expect, laxatives, pain relief etc.
Final procedure was having my drainage bag removed, I need to book an appointment with the practice nurse at my GP’s to have it checked and the dressing replaced.
Home safely and had a good night’s sleep on the whole with managing my own pain relief.
Still shrieking when I sit on the sofa or get up from it.
