I don't think you will ever, ever stop worrying about your Mom. It's only natural and it's normal to feel slightly out of control when you are many miles away.  You care very much about your Mom and Dad and they know and appreciate that.

You've taken a massive step by going on holiday and a small step towards normality for you. Your Mom, Dad and friends will all be here waiting for you when you come back and will want to hear your stories (well, perhaps the edited version!).

Listen up.  Please try to enjoy the time you have left on holiday. Your Mom will be at the end of a 'phone if you need to hear her voice.  Your Mac friends aren't going anywhere, we're all just a click away.

I bet you couldn't have imagined going away a few months ago??? Hmm??  Think of this as an achievement (because it is) and just keep taking small steps when you come back.

You're doing brilliant. xxxx  Everyone is allowed to have blips. Your Mom is safe and is being looked after, your friends aint going anywhere, now go and enjoy that lovely sunshine!

As Sarah says, your mac friends are all here waiting for you and you have already been in touch with us.

Families are very important since they are the ones who will stand by you whatever happens. Just because you've gone away with your parents doesn't mean your friends will love you any the less; we're here for you anytime.

I remember when I was your age (I've got a very good memory!) the thought of holidays with parents was the last thing I wanted, but hey I remember some of the wonderful things that happened on those holidays.

Try to enjoy this opportunity for family bonding which is needed as much by your parents as it is by you. Soon you will be striking out on your own and these opportunities for family time will get less, but memories are built of times like this.

Enjoy your time in lanzarote, but come and tell us what a fab time you've had when you get a moment.
