they've took her into hospice for at least two weeks and they trying to get  her to agree to having a carer in in a morning when she gets home, but i just get the feeling she not going to be going home

am going to pack a bag ready to go at the drop of a hat,

going to ring hospice and try and talk to the doc that is looking after her and see what i can find out.

and to give them my contact details so they can ring me if she gets worse so i can get there

does anyone know if being in the hospice affects her Attendance Allowance?

    Hi nannydi,

I've not spoke to you for a while.  I don't think her attendance allowance should be effected because she is in the hospice but i'm not 100% sure.  hopefully she will be in the hospice while they get your mum stabalised with the correct meds and to give her restbite.

I really hope she accepts the extra help at home because this will add to her quality of life.

I'm thinking about you going through this difficult time and i hope your mum is kept as comfortable and as painfree as possible.  Take care nanndi. x
