    Aaaaaaaarrrrrwwww nannydi,

I'm really sorry to hear it's not good news, I really am.  You must be proud of yourself for being there to beable to make sure she at least got some pain relief.  Make sure you get the doctor to come back to her and stay with her if you are able to.  I'm thinking of you nannydi.

You did really well to get her to go to hospital  XXX

gp been today and was saying that they shouldn't have told me to give her two tsp of oromorph last night and yes that was why she was hallucinating, she don't remember any of it

gp has upped her mst (morphine) to 2x30mg twice a day and took her off her blood pressure tabs as bp was 100/60

she went to  bed just after 9pm tonight and barely ate anything again today.

gp has suggested that she goes into hospice for a few days and then they can sort out her meds properly and it introduces her to the hospice x

am going home tomorrow lunchtime xx

well i am home, am knackered. mum was in really good spirits yesterday, but then not only was i there but a friend from work came to see her and then sister and brother in law came and they were having a laugh (i had left by that point)

yesterday was the first day she was on 60mg of MST twice a day

and she says she not in so much pain

she got macmillan nurse going today, so hopefully gp has spoken to her and she may be able to get mum in hospice for a few days to get meds sorted properly

occupational therapist is going to get mum a hospital bed which will be better than what she got now.

spoke to mums gp other day and asked him how long he thinks she got. wasn't shocked when he said less than six months but i not going to tell sisters..............

what upset me the most is the manner he deals with mum, he been our doc for years ( not mine now cos i moved away) he sits stroking her hand all the time he is talking to her. he truly is a gem..

off to see my gp in abit x
