Had my results post surgery... they found cancer in two of the fifteen lymph’s they took out. I do feel this is good news although I must confess I am gutted they found it in them at all.
Having a picc line in tomorrow and honestly.... it scares me.... I do not do needles and know this is the right thing to do in the long run but wow it just sounds so invasive, the long list of side effects and risks. My chemo was deferred for a week today as well, quite disappointed as just got all geared up for it and it means my 2nd dose will be Dec 22nd. Just hoping xmas isn't spoilt by side effects, I like my xmas dinner too much, lol X
Had to laugh today was weighed and have put on 3/4 stone and that’s after losing the weight of my G cup breast, lol X
Did anyone see the report on the BBC News website under the health tag...Genes give clue to early puberty, lhttp://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-11795645 there is some interesting reading in there regarding children’s diet and possible links to breast cancer in later life!! Thought provoking stuff!!
Overall.... Tonight will be another no sleep night, but I know I have just got to get on with it. Tomorrow by this time another milestone of my fears will be concord and I will be patiently waiting for next week, when my next hurdle comes.
Good luck to all in your own journey and may peace come to us all eh XX
