Well thats another hurdel over and done with :-)) I have been lucky, I've not really had any trouble with this treatment and what the nurses told me turned out to be true.... " If you've delt with chemo then this will be a breeze " The nurses were all fantastic once again and I didn't have to wait very long each day for the treatment.
Back in six weeks for an appt with the consultant to check up on things, the three weekly herceptin trip as normal. I have a feeling of slight triumph inside as before christmas this day seemed a world away, yet here I am, hair starting to grow and slowly feeling better. I have signed up for the race for life with my 9 year old, were gonna ask the school to do a non uniform day as sponsorship. Life is starting to feel a bit more normal and now the bulk of my treatment involving toing and froing from hospitsl is over we can start to get back to a good routine again.
Hope everyone reading this who may be at the start of their journey can see that it does end and a feeling of life can and will return ;-))
Good luck and big hugs to all X
