So I now have 5 radiotherapy sessions and 1 chemo session under my belt. I don't feel as bad as what I thought I would. I am feeling a little sickly but nothing I can't cope with. Going for Chemo was a massive eye opener and all I could say was that I felt like a proper cancer patient when I was sat with people who's out look was obviously no where near as good as mine.
I've lost some of my taste - Kebab and red wine didn't go down to well on Sunday but G and T was fine.:-) Because my taste buds aren't working at full strength I'm getting cravings lol so for tea tonight I'm on baked beans and a big suet pudding from Oswaldtwistle mills and oven chips (frozen - summat i never really eat at home lol) Ill let you know how it all goes down. Energy levels are ok but back to work tomorrow so will see what next week brings. Anti sickness drugs are interfering with my toilet habits lol but I'm sure that the radiotherapy will reverse this once the side effects kick in. LOL
So your all upto date now (maybe with info you didnt really want to know- but I know that when I first started my journey and read blogs I wanted to know everything lol)
any questions just ask
Hope veryone had a good crimbo and new year
Kathy xx
