I was at Kings College hospital on wednesday 29th to talk to the BMT co-ordinater. She discussed everything about the harvesting and the transplant and I signed; the consent forms. I will be having chemo on the 10th november followed by 6 days of growth factor injections and the harvesting on the 20th and 21st. Having thought I was going to be in hospital over Xmas for the transplant, I will now be going in January…

I was due to have vertibroplasty done at London Bridge hospital on the 16thoctober but it was cancelledas the radiologist is away in Kenya because his father is very ill and wont be back in time. Having got myself prepared mentally, I feel like it is such a let down but hope it wont be too long for the new date. I am also waiting on a date from Kings in London for my stem cell harvesting. My hair has just thickened out…
