You have definately come to the right place for information etc plus a lot of support.  Obviuosly I do not know personally what you are asking but there are a lot of gentelmen (and not-so-gentlemen lol) who are in a similar situation who I am sure will be  along soon.

I'm sorry that I can't be of much help here.   I have Non Hodgkins Lymphoma.    However, after many many months of pain in my groin area I'm told that my prostrate is somewhat enlarged.    (Previously OK in a scan last year)     There's no direct plan of action for me as yet, but I was wondering whether my symptoms were shared by you Mark - groin pain etc.

I'm only just getting 'used' to the idea of NHL, so a a possible new development is not quite what I had in mind for 2009.

Any general pointers would be appreciated.

What an interesting way of your spelling

Hi,

I had a few aches and pains in my lower back/hips, nothing in the groin area.

A simple blood test indictated my PSA level was high.... testing by the hospital discovered prostate cancer.

Whatever is there, just face it with a positive attitude.
