Barry has had his first lot of chemo, other that being shattered and nausea he is better than before. I think the worry and not knowing what to expect made him a nervous wreck !! Actually went into town today he was really tired but at least I got him out.

I never saw your reply until just now. I've dropped the steroids as the hos said I had too much energy and I have slept a bit. I went back to work on Mon and I thought I would be tired but I'm not.the worst effect for me is the constipation. I got medication on Sat but so far it hasn't worked except for massive bouts of wind. Not funny when you are a primary school teacher!
The hospital I have chemo at is called the Blackheath Hospital. I can have surgery there if I want or I can choose another place. If I have liver surgery I will have to go to KIngs as it seems to be the best in London but I will use the private wing.
