My husband Dave, 49, diagnosed in June with Myeloma and currently in remission as we head off 2,000 miles from home (we live in the States) for the first of two stem cell transplants.  We are leaving in less than a week and I have much packing and organizing to do.  I feel bad for him as he is feeling really good and they will knock the snot out of him with his stem cell transplant, then he comes home and recovers, feels good and then they will knock the snot out of him again this spring!  But by summer he should be a new man.  Happy to talk about ANYTHING, what did you have in mind?  Best, Lori

It is the worse time for you my daughter found help by looking at the macmillan site, there are lots of stories some are really comforting and helpful.  All you can really do is support your mum and be there for her I wish you all the luck in the world

dont know what I want to talk about at the moment. My husband went to chemo specialist yesterday and I think it has finally hit home that there is no cure just a fight for time, he is having a really bad day and feeling very sick and unwell I just hope he can find the courage to fight on. I think sometimes just putting your thoughts down helps so thanks for reading my blogg. I do hope your husband gets on OK we dont realise how much our lives change with cancer do we ??
