My partner and I had great news today. We found out that his Bone scan and MRI were clear. The cancer had not traveled past his prostate. I am also happy to say that he is finally opening up and talking to me about how he is feeling and not just about the treatments that were offered him today. But emotionally about things he is feeling which he had not been doing. He had been so closed lip about himself. Although he is not very impressed with his doctor at the moment because his doctor had no concern about what he was going through emotionally.

I'm glad he is realising that it doesn't diminish him to let on how he is feeling. Maybe his GP is used to his macho act, so isn't ready to be sympathetic. Give it time. My GP was wonderful when I lost it at one stage. Mind you, I am fairly emotional. Not a leaking tap, but not afraid to weep when the situation arises.
