  • My diary--Mesothelioma Tumour Shrinking such good news for a change

    The Doctor couldn't control his excitement this afternoon at my 3 pm appointment .
    He shook my hand and Rays and said.
    "We cant believe it, where you was disease stable 3 months ago you are now at -- your Tumour has shrunk so you life expectancy now has no time limit or schedule."
    He has given me a written report to prove it.

     I cant thank the NHS enough and so pleased I have helped in the trials of the Talc…

  • My Diary--The week of my scan results

    Ray took this photo of a Painted lady in the garden the other day.

    Well we are finally in the week of the results on Friday–it really does make you sweat as I want to plan so much when I get the all clear again for the next 3 months.

    the weather is cold and grey not a bit like summer, I cant believe its all over there must be a sun up there that wants to come out to play.

    I have no enthusiasm to do anything…

  • My diary--our first stay at home weekend since May

    We are staying home for the first time since May as it is cold and wet.

    So boring though but I will get myself together and today is Spring clean the bedroom.

    We have an Ottoman bed --all leather and very heavy so we cant pull it out to clean under.

    We have to get all the items we store in it right out then take the bottom flooring out and Hey Presto we can see the floor.

  • My diary a weekend in Essex

    We have had a great weekend with friends at High Garret Braintree.

    It is great for us to park up the Motorhome in a garden and have a private rally like that.

    We even travelled on the buses to Braintree and then Great Dunmow –ooo what a devil.

    It was a sleepy Market town and had very quaint shops to browse around and then have tea at a teashop by the village pond–all very sweet.

  • My diary another scan and now the wait for the results

    We had to go to the hospital for my scan but the appointment was 5.45pm so we had plenty of time to go shopping in Canterbury and buy some new shoes.

    Canterbury was full of Tourists that had come over on day trips on the Ferries from France so it was very noisy.

    Also many Chinese were here from the University Where they must be staying.

    We got to the hospital early and I was seen almost straight away. No dye was used…
