My diary a weekend in Essex

Less than one minute read time.

We have had a great weekend with friends at High Garret Braintree.

It is great for us to park up the Motorhome in a garden and have a private rally like that.

We even travelled on the buses to Braintree and then Great Dunmow –ooo what a devil.

It was a sleepy Market town and had very quaint shops to browse around and then have tea at a teashop by the village pond–all very sweet.

Saturday even we went into the Marquee and ate a hog roast and lovely puddings and then we were entertained by The Abba Girls who sang songs from the London Shows– all very enjoyable.

We found a field for Louis to have a good run off lead so he was totally happy and really behaved himself.

Well back at home we have done all the washing and cleaned the house together trying to keep ourselves sane while we wait for the results on the 20th.

I have said it would be nice to stay at home this weekend but if the weather is good we could always go for a nice drive somewhere.

Go for it girl,  get away.   I'm afraid we've got a football season ticket for me to compete with this season, so unless I want to spend my weekends in Oxford my options become limited, especial if the family are busy or away.  Mind you, we did say how nice it was to enjoy the sunshine in the garden last weekend, and had a paddle in the sea when we went out on our bikes (and tried to find a hog roast but it was only BBQ pork in a bun!)

    Love n hugs
