My diary another scan and now the wait for the results

1 minute read time.

We had to go to the hospital for my scan but the appointment was 5.45pm so we had plenty of time to go shopping in Canterbury and buy some new shoes.

Canterbury was full of Tourists that had come over on day trips on the Ferries from France so it was very noisy.

Also many Chinese were here from the University Where they must be staying.

We got to the hospital early and I was seen almost straight away. No dye was used, as I had a reaction last time, with all the rash and itching, the nurse said that was rare (I am rare Ray said) so it was all over very quickly.

We got back by 7 and had our tea so now the wait begins for the results.

Last year while I was on chemo I watched my neighbours going about their everyday lives,

Laughing and talking and I said to Ray I was jealous that I had been given 3 months to live and I will be going first but I was wrong as my neighbour Gloria was found dead today which is a real shock as she was sitting in the garden Sunday evening laughing and joking with her friends.

She seems to have been dead for 2-3 days and she died on her settee. 60feet away from my Parkhome-- that's all-- how can that happen.

So sad to die alone on your settee and in your night cloths.

Gloria you were such a lovely lady who loved your family --so sorry.

We really must live life to the full as you just never know.

so sorry to hear about your friend gloria - may she rest in peace - although to be honest i  think most of us would wish to "go" that way ....not to be ill and just get ready for bed and go to sleep ......still it is such a shock for family and friends left behind

sending you a little gentle (hug) xxxxx

So they still didn't get the scan ready before the Onc....  here's hoping for the best.  How long before you see them now?

I shall never forget someone on the cruise telling me to make sure not only that my husband knew my wants, but that I knew his as no-one knows when their time is up.  She was crippled up with MS, but her husband died of a massive heartattack one night!  You never know in this life.

    good luck
