completley confused!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Less than one minute read time.
My mum has just been diagnosed with secondary breast cancer and we have been told this is now in the lungs and spine. Mum is on the meds femara. she is only 53 and we lost my younger sister at 14 with lung cancer so this is a really scary moment for us. the docs are reluctant to talk about how long this horrible black monster is going to torture her for!!!!! can anyone please tell me what there experiences were in going through this. my love and best wishes to all family friends and victims of this. x

  • Hi John,

The above blog is very inspiring and should give you hope. Every person is different and every cancer is different so the medics often can't give you 'times' or 'best before' dates because we are all unique. Of course it is a very worrying time for you but please don't give up hope. Many patients can live with secondaries for a long time with drugs or other treatment keeping them under control.

    Best wishes,
