Moving on

Less than one minute read time.

So now it is time to move on, and think about me. I need hugs and affection and not just from the kids, the kind you get from someone special. But first I need to remove David's things. Also to change my bed as someone new may not like to share the same bed I shared with my husband. The thing is the bed cost £7000 and is only 2 years old, it seems a shame to just throw it out, so the question is what to do with it.

    Hi Sue,

So lovely to hear from you... I often wonder how you are getting on.... and glad to hear you still read the warped posts along the way... not sure if you make any sense of anything and you probably don't know most of the people on it now but I like the idea of you reading them... :)

If you like the bed as a piece of furniture,  keep it. Anyone new is going to have to deal with him having been a big part of your life and your kids' dad so a bed is just a piece of furniture and it doesn't matter really....

(I moved in with my other half and slept in the same bed he had had with his ex wife... we had no money to buy things like beds at the time)

If you don't like it, or it has sad memories, sell it. Doesn't matter what you sell it for, but don't just chuck it, at least get enough money to buy a decent new bed.

Lastly, blimey!!!!! You spend seven grand on a bed??? :)

Biggest hug to you and hope you and the kids are doing ok.

The bed is electonic, so it could be adjusted for David to sleep at an angle following his oesophagus surgery he couldn't lay flat which is why it was so expensive. The thing is I'm not sure if I would feel comfortable having someone else in essentially our bed. In fact I hadn't thought about it, until talking with some friends and then felt maybe it might not feel right.
