Hi everyone...I'm Ken...Jan King's husband. not really sure where to post this but hopefully it will get found by somebody.
I have done a lot of reading here under Jan's ID so I fell like I know some of you already. There are many great people here and I admire the strength and courage of all who are affected by this nasty desease.

Jan and I met online 10 years ago and after many trips across the Atlantic we deceided to get married on Jan.7th of this year. I returned home to Nova Scotia to finish up the paperwork and to clear closet space for Jan's arrival ;) Jan was ready to get her medical exam done for the immigration papers when she went to doctor with a sore throat...the rest is history!
I flewback to Scotland to be with her for the results of the biopsy but due to financial reasons I had to retun to Canada. It is not easy being away from Jan while she goes through her treatment but I will be there soon to help her recover.

well here i am the bully (not really just not prepared to let this ruin my life and havent got time for it in my life how dare it !!!!) jan will tell you lol nice to meet you at last yes she misses you but im always here with the others to kick her up the backside and keep her laughing and motivated im a scot as well so we dont take any prisoners lol!!!! know she misses you big time and it wont be long till youre back together mate but in the meantime she has all of us here im going to scotland to see my mum next weekend so i am so going to try and drop in to see her if i can find my way there even if i only manage an hour with my size six ready for her backside looooooooool will add you as a friend in a minute take care love and hugs jen xxxx

Hi Ken and Welcome!

Jan is understandably very nervous regarding her oncoming Treatment so I'm happy that you have been able to come onboard.

Please remember Ken that we will all be here for you too!

Thanks to everyone for your warm welcome...and to Jennifer...Joycee...and Jayne for your friend requests.

I might not be around here too much in the next week or so...I am moving out of my apartment and in with one of my sisters next weekend so I'll have lots to do. This is all part of the "get to Scotland ASAP plan!" Once this move has been done I will be able to save money more quickly for my next move...to Scotland.
