Send Thomas or James (admin) an email or PM - you probably need to install Java onto your PC - but I might be wrong! Hope you get sorted soon - I will flag your post now so James and Thomas see it first thing tomorrow. Best wishes, Jools x
It might be that your computer does not like the "Java" system that runs the Chat Room (no, I do not understand it either - but I do know that sometimes I have to click on "start Chatting" about a dozen times before the box opens up for me. It;s very frustrating, but I'm sure Thomas will put you right, and hope to meet you in the "Room". xxxx Penny
PS It is "netiquette" to use lower case as capital letters online indicate SHOUTING and people may wonder what you are meaning!

Aha, I wonder if it is because you have Caps Lock on? Your name is all in lower case (kathryn) and I know I had a bit of difficulty getting onto chat when I started as I forgot to put a capital letter at the beginning of my screen name (Clarity) so it didn't recognise who I was...it has to be exactly as you entered it the first time, and as Penny noticed you have been typing in capitals!
thankyou for your help. Sorry i have been writing in capitals my sons told me off for it. My excuse is even with my specs on i cant hardly see the screen. ( time for new glasses i think !!!!!). I will keep trying the chat room though. Much love jk xxxx
