Hi Julie, sorry to hear you feel so rubbish. Hopefully the end is in sight for you. I think from reading other bloggs what you are feeling is normal and you are not being a big baby. Listen to what your body is telling you and if you want to curl up in a ball then do so as long as you don't give up. Keep positive it will all be worth it in the end, you have probably already come a very long way and you wll get through it.

sending you my love and lots and lots of hugs

Hi Julie, never give up, I can imagine your pain and the "is it worth all this ??" that runs through your mind. I call these thoughts Demons and they are always around, waiting to hit you when you feel low.

I had surgery for lung cancer, just had my third All Clear Xray. I am defying the odds and still laughing at the devil. I developed arthritis all over my body at the same time, no cure for that, got to live with it. It hurts every day, but we are still alive.

    Big hugs, love Bill xxx

    Hello Julie,

Know exactly how you feel, had a similar experience a two weeks ago with Taxotere.  Frustrating isn't it? By lying down and curling up in a ball you're not giving up, you're giving yourself the rest you need.

Can you get in bed or on the settee and get as comfortable as possible?  When you feel like this there is nothing you need to do except REST.

Can you get better pain relief? Have you spoken to the hospital or GP about it? It might be worth getting something stronger and knocking yourself out for a few days. I intend to do that for my next chemo session if it's painful.

Really hope it eases up soon.

Take care and a big hug

    Andrea x
