Aww Julie, I really feel for you. I felt similar towards the end of a Taxol regime. It's grotty and horrible trying to do stuff with numb hands and feet and drunk legs that don't do what you want them to.

If the effects are wearing off between each session you may find that when you're speaking to your oncologist you play the effects down a bit. It's easy to do, particularly when you're out the other side and feeling relatively ok again. Maybe you could keep a diary which you can then show him/her. It saves you dredging up memories of how you felt and gives them a clearer picture of how you feel during the cycle.

There are things they can give you to help.

Hiya Julie..................been there and done it and yes at times you do feel like giving up, I did too BUT the way you are feeling will pass. Good ole taxol, I still get effects from it now but it makes me exercise and that is a good thing for me to be doing (I am in remission)

I am a positive person and it got me down, there would be something unusual with you hun if you didn't get down days, we all do, I still do even now. Ride it out my love and you will improve.....Take care....love Carol x

Hi Julie - sorry things are tough for you at the moment with chemo - Ive been on Carbo and thought it was plain sailing till this cycle where  I feel dreadful and very sickly etc. We will just have to plod through together - this is the 5th chmo I've been on - you get through them somehow because we just have to try and beat the monster down. Sending support and empathy Love Jools xx
