I feel so alone...

Less than one minute read time.
My OH is in hospital, in Leeds. I feel so lonely... he's only been gone a few hours but I miss him so much. Daft I know, but, hey, at least he's being missed!! We have only had 3 nights apart in 18 years..all due to work. He's having an op in the morning. I mentioned in a previous blog post that he had a problem with his lung.. due to him working with asbestos in the past his problem has been taken seriously...(shame the prostate problem wasn't treated so seriously..) On a more upbeat note... Bobby (puppy) continues to thrive..we adore him, he's so cute. Thank God no ill effects show from his self inflicted hormone boost.. The car is still a pain.

There is a mountain of interaction on this site which you can take at your own pace by reading or interact on chat. Use and use the people that freely donate - there is someone who will be able to get you through it. Just go and look for it.

We took two on a boating holiday with two men who had mesothelioma - one was royal navy and the other was a brewery pipe lagger. The pipe lagger shouted tot he ex RN (who is in his eighties) "Lend us a fiver, Bill" meaning that if he borrowed money off him he might not have to pay it back. One day Tony who is sixty odd had a coughing fit. "Lend us a tenner, Tony" shoutes Bill - "it sounds like you are worse than me!"

    Keep smiling

    Love
