How clean is your house?

Less than one minute read time.
Hi all, Woke up this morning with the worst headache that i've had on radiotherapy (thus far). Not completely debilitating but still painful enough to have a day in the PJs watching 'How clean is your house?' And do I feel smug that my house is cleaner than some of these people? I sure do. I confess to being a bit of a hoarder but not to the level of these mingers. Lordy! How can these people live with all the cat hair and dead (and living) insects? Ikky! I suppose that we all have little visitors in our houses that we don't know about. But not the wee encrusted around the loo that hasn't been cleaned since the person has moved in - about ten years. Smelly boys. Double ikky. Shudders. JD

Think you may have hit a raw nerve with someone there!!!!!! Glad you enjoyed the programme, it always makes me feel better about my home. Yes there may be a layer of dust every now and then, but it can go quite unnoticed until someone moves an ornament ( must get rid of the ornaments!!!!!).

Hope you get some relief from the headache soon, keep smiling and seeing the funny side of life. Its what keeps us all going. Take care honey JK  xxx

You're hopelessly outnumbered Ummagumma  -  it was meant as a chatty bit of fun  -  we have that programme here in NZ  too (locally produced) and I actually don't like it myself , gives me the sh*ts -  but hell, to each his own, live and let live and all that jazz!!!  Wish we had some emoticons on here!!!

I love watching this programme with JD together, on the sofa. I am not laughing at or making fun of the people featured in the show. Well, not all of them. A lot of them clearly have mental issues, which is nothing to laugh at. However, that does not mean I am not staring at the screen in disgust at their situation! And then there are the 'just plain lazy'. I certainly laugh at them!

I also laugh at the tall one of the two (That's Kim, right?) who, in the midst of a house that looks like a toilet brush, with dirty bits sticking to everything, thinks it is really important to show the dirty folks how to polish their silver or how to clean their gold rings... Hahahaha!

There is nothing wrong with hoarding. Many hoarders are very clean but just have lots of stuff. It gets a bit problematic when you start hoarding bin bags or cat poo or dust mite!!

Amazing that this post, a bit of harmless fluff, has gotten such a big response!
