John - Lucky you. We did this a good while back, but avoided Jerusalem as we couldn't get insurance cover for the car we hired. Did you visit Masada ?Hubby made me walk up then had to get the cable car down (not sure which was worst). The Golan heights were great - covered in flowers after the Spring rains.Fantastic place, but best not leave khaki covered telescopes in your car as the Israeli army get quite interested in you (hubby is a birdwatcher). You have bought back memories now- I'll have the get the photos out.

Yes I did go to Masada and Qumran. Amazing places! We used the cable car up and down. Sang 'Swing Low Sweet Chariot' on the way up! Saw the sign that said we had travelled from minus 257 metres below sea level to only 33 metres above sea level! Also wrote some verses which I have also put to music!

“Follow me” -  Messiah Yeshua, it was He!
