onco's phone call

Just wanted to point out that in my blog yesterday when I said my onco had phoned me to say the chemo had failed it was because I had asked him to. Some of you were a bit surprised that bad news was given this way but it meant that I only had to wait over the weekend to get results instead of a week when I have my appointment. I know no one know s who he is but I don't want anyone to think he is insensitive.

Hi Jen,

The one thing these Oncologists are not insensitive.We thank you for being honest and it is now understandable why he phoned Not many Oncs

would be so willing to do so.

mine oncologist rang me with the results and i was shocked but didnt understand when he asked for my phone number thats what he was going to do. I couldnt drive home from work i couldnt stop shaking, in his defence i was so scared my mind was a muddle anyway. Good luck jen xx
