You cannot but admire the fiesty cancer cell

1 minute read time.

Ok so there you are, you  have snuck in , built a nice community for yourself and your family. You have even set up some small satelite communities in near by areas. All seems well, until your illegal camps are found  and war breaks out. Total anihillation of your home and satelite communities. Devastation of the area around means there is no where in the local area for you to regroup. It gets worse, first chemical warfare, then nuking of the area you had occupied and finally biological warfare. I had hoped that any cancer cells left after that onslaught would have taken at least a couple of years to gain their strength back and regrouping before beginning another attack. Ha! Not so, That fiesty little cell managed to avoid the chemical onslaught and had moved away from the radiation zone. Yep folks, it has returned! There is an area on the bone near my hip. Unfortunately the CT scan results were not through so have no idea if it has decided to colonise the soft tissue and other organs. So here we are the oncologist is trying to fix me in for radiotherapy next Thursday by which time the CT scan will be available and we will "Discuss what happens next" although I already think he is going to change my medication whether or not. So we are off on yet another stage of this journey. It feels like one of those mystery tours coach companies run. You know the ones I mean, sit in the coach for a few hours dreiving round and end up at the town just up the road!!!

Take care all, love

Sounds like an episode of Border Patrol.....they find illegals in all sorts of places trying to get in over here and I guess Cancer is pretty much the same....... sorry its back Kath, hope you get some reassurance and a decent plan of action at your next meeting.

Well you must be a bit miffed at the news. Still you conquered it once, you can do it again.

love and gentle hugs from one who knows (yup I had a return in June, less than a year after the first, but they cut it out and I'm okay at the moment!)

Yeah they may have won a battle but they haven't won the war. Keep fighting Kath, your fellow troops are beside you.
