Well what a flippin' performance

1 minute read time.

So I finally decided that I would change my internet provider. I rang up aol and was told it would take about 10 to 14 days to close down the account, giving me plenty of time to get my new provider installed, no loss of being on line. Fine. Hah!! three days later I am cut off! So I have been twiddling my thumbs until I was reconnected today ( Hurray!!!)

Well Just to fill you in .. The driving lessons in the simulator have been ok ish, but I have now been brave enough to book some real lessons in a real car on the real road!!! So all of you driving around Bolton on Sunday afternoons be on the look out for the BSM car being driven very slowly and very wobbly. And if you gently overtake and glance inthe driver's mirror and see a middle aged woman with her tongue stuck out in deep concentration... well chances are  it will be me.

I have really been made to feel my age today.. We had a supply teacher in today, lotsa of staff have picked up a dreadful tummy bug ( both ends... need I say more) anyway I look at this young chap and think....his face is familiar.... bloody hell, I taught him when he was eight!!!!! And her recognised meQ! Too long in the same school I supposed.

On a more serious note, I have a hospital appointment on Monday when I will get the dreaded results. I'm obviously hoping the news is good but have thought long and hard about what I will do if the blighter has decided to spread itself around my body. I shall carry on regardless!!! ( may be even a little more disgracefully that normal)

Take care all

Hi Kath, how I thank my lucky stars I don't live in Bolton lol. Seriously though, I hope you do well with the lessons, what a difference it makes getting out on the road.

I sympathise with you with the supply teacher.  What a shock that must have been ha ha.

I hope your hospital results are favourable.  Will keep an eye out to see how you get on.  Best of luck, Christine xx

I'm sure you will think it was the best thing you ever did when you pass your driving test. I don't know how I would cope without my little car.

Hope you get good results on Monday. Keeping everything crossed for you.

    Take care

I used to chew my lips and hang on to the steering wheel for dear life when I first learnt to drive - that was 25+ years ago - lol.  Good luck with the lessons and at the hospital.

How wonderful that someone you taught has decided to follow you into teaching.

    Love and Hugs
