It's been quite a while since I blogged so maybe a little updating is needed. I am finally on the other side of the treatment regime, chemo and radiation is now complete. All I now have to put up with now is the dratted hormone therapy, lots of hot sweats and achy joints.I went back to work on the 2nd of June, a couple of phased in weeks whilst I finished radiation therapy, but am now full time, albeit on a reduced timetable.My 11 year old granddaughter and I did the race for life a couple of weeks back and I managed a faster (walking) time than last year. I must admit I am looking forwards to the end of the week when the summer holidays start. I have my first post treatment with the consultant on the 5th of August and have a short holiday planned for the 17th, just across the channel to Belgium. No doubt I shall stock up on that lovely Belgian chocolate!
