Oh I am so sorry to come on here and rant, but I feel if I don't I may end up committing murder! I am being driven up the wall and over the other side! Why, you might ask. Well it is absolutely nothing to do with the big C or its treatment. No it is far more trivial that that. I have a broken toe, and have to wear a plaster slipper. Because of this trifling injury I cannot go to work, not because of the injury, more to do with H&S. Now I was off work for eight months when I had chemo and was able to get out each day. I was one of the lucky ones, I had very few side effects and not many bad days. However, I cannot get out. My swimming lessons have had to stop, my driving lessons have to stop, walks around the block are possible only if the weather is good, and guess what it has been raining. I have turned into a harridan, the wicked witch from the west. In fact my husband keeps suggesting I hop on the yard brush and fly away! ( His sense of humour is not his finest point.... ) Hopefully the weather will brighten this afternoon so that I can try and hobble over to a friend's house for a change of scenery.
Two weeks before I go back to the hospital and see if the plaster can be removed.....will I , or indeed my husband, last so long.!
Take care all,
Kath xx
