i have finished chemo

Less than one minute read time.
Just wanted to share that I have finished chemo after 6 months. I wanted to thank you all for all your lovely help and keeping me going during this time. I had the final taxotere this afternoon. I have six lovely weeks off now to build up strength again before surgery and radiotherapy. By reading all your blogs and forums its really really helped me get through this - reading the symptons of chemo you have all experienced which has made me realise half the symptons i have are the run of the mill - the same as you all have had and that there was nothing to worry about after all. I cant tell you how helpful it has been THANK YOU XXXXX So my last week of feeling post chemo rubbish, hopefully, just wanted to share. lots of love and good healing to you all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Its quite a milestone to end a phase of treatment - and Taxotere is no joke - so I very much admire you. I hope you are able to do some nice treats in the intervening time to reward yourself for your endurance! Best wishes, Jools x x

Oh you must have thought this day would never come when you were suffering all the side-effects and feeling so terrible.  Great to hear that you have done with the first stage of the Iron Woman Triathlon.  Have a lovely rest, let your body start to recover, and then, onward.....  Loads of love xxxxx Penny

You are so the best, i wont disappear i still have a long way to go yet and will be asking about surgery experiences next lol.  Its been great to have so much wonderful contact helping through this first stage so thanks to everyone.

My treat is my lovely new flat to move into in three weeks time, i have been living with my lovely daughter for past 8 months and she has been wonderful but she will only be a few minutes drive away from my new place.  I will have 3 weeks to snuggle into it and get it sorted before i go into hospital and it will be all ready to snuggle into when i come out, it will be a great place for healing and a few minutes walk from St Albans Cathedral its fabulous. I will have the recommended 4 weeks off work to heal properly and sleep lots before i have radio therapy around christmas or hopefully just after then thats bit over with too.  Just the hormal pills.  Anyway thats too far ahead at the moment, all i want to do is move into the flat it will take my mind off operation and i will begin to have my hair grow back wahoooooo. lol.

Lots of love to you all and a huge hug ((((((((((((((((((((())))))))))))))))))))))))))) speak tomorrow xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
