    well stage two is over with, went in on the 13th November to Barts for partial masectomy and lymph node clearance, came out thursday just gone.     I just come back from hospital clinic and operation is set for 13th nov, it was going to be next week but this recent infection has held it up a week but never mind its still earlier than i expected. I am having a lymph node clearance and lumpectomy has anyone else had this?     Two weeks after my final chemo session, just when you think you are safe then i fell foul of the dreaded and most feared neutropenia. Found i had severe flu like symptons last wednesday and thursday and was at work would you believe, but thursday night i couldnt get warm, despite a roaring fire, hot water bottle and blanket whilst on the sofa, my daughter took my temperature and immediately rang the hospital.     ok so i have been at home this week after chemo and feeling really rubbish and praying i dont get infection being on the last bit of the first stage as i have been lucky so far (fingers crossed).     Just wanted to share that I have finished chemo after 6 months. I wanted to thank you all for all your lovely help and keeping me going during this time. I had the final taxotere this afternoon. I have six lovely weeks off now to build up strength again before surgery and radiotherapy.
