Nice to meet you,sorry about the circumstances.Im sure that like lots of other people you will find this site both friendly and helpful.The chat room is always open and there you will find help,plenty of shoulders to cry on and advice,if you want it but also lots of humour and laughs.I wish you lots of luck with your treatments and look forward to seeing your posts in the future.

Thanks Debs your reply was a welcome tonic (without the gin) hope I'm getting the hang of this, I,ve not been computing very long !!!

So sorry to hear your news.  You must both be devasted.  My husband was diagnosed with mesothelioma in September last year.  He finished six cycles of alimta and cisplatin mid February, and since then thank God has stayed very well.   It  did take us both a while to come to terms with the diagnosis, but now we live a few weeks at a time, and try to always have something in the near future to look forward to. Nothing more I can say, except that I have learnt that we all deal with things in our own ways, and there is no right or wrong way to feel. I hope you wil both find comfort and support from this site.
