Didn't see this coming

Less than one minute read time.

Hi,This time 7 weeks ago I was just coming out of the Gym as per usual, I thought I had better chase up my Pleural Biopsy results as it had been 6 weeks since I was in hospital. My wife and I were thinking no news is good news, how wrong we were. I now await appointments for radio/chemotherapy. Mesothelioma (I can write it but cant pronounce it) Thanks for taking your precious time to read this

I wonder why they give the various cancers such hard bloomin names.  I have tried saying yours out loud several times but not sure I've got it right.

Its taken me a year to be able to pronounce my own - anaplastic oligodendroglioma!

Still would love to get that on a scrabble board LOL

Glad to hear I sound positive.  That's not always the case, but we have learnt to make the best of things. I hope your treatments go well.  G sailed through chemo with only minor side effects.  He did so well, that I was afraid the chemo wasn't doing him any good!  He didn't lose his hair, just a little thinning on top.

Its such a relief to hear what you say Jaguar.  My husband is with his mum tonight who is hundreds of miles away and she has too been diagnosed with the same as you today.  I never saw it coming either and don't know what to do.  Good luck x
