my dad is dying and my best friend won't speak

Thanks for your reply.  You are not losing your mind - well no more than the rest of us!!

I didn't let my friend off lightly when she phoned, I made sure she realised how I felt and she did apologise and said that she will come to see me during half term (she better, or that's it!)

Thanks again for your reply, let me how it goes when you speak to your friend.

Call in anytime Izzy, we are all your friends here.But dont give up on your friend, like everyone said ,she might not know what to say that's right, and because its your Dad she may be finding his illness hard to handle. Give her a call, it will give you both the chance to air your feelings.
