What a difference a day makes.

Less than one minute read time.

Yesterday was a marathon we spent 18 hours traveling and at the hospital phew. But it was time well spent Peter had 2 units of blood and has pinked up nicely for Christmas.

There were long discussions with the team and we have decided to try the Gatsby Trial.

appointments for preliminary trial tests have been agreed and will be completed by 3rd January so Peter should start  chemo on 6th January.

6 weeks after Peter commences trial a CT scan will determine whether he should continue or switch to a different regime.

We are fortunate Peter's team have moved on this so quickly and feel  lucky that we  have this firm plan in place so soon.

Our last pre Christmas appointment is at the hospice on Monday.to sort out analgesia.

Morale is restored, even a visit form Peters sister today with whom he has a tenuous relationship couldn't dampen the euphoric atmosphere  here.

Mushty, so glad to read that things are more positive for you both. A plan in place is always a good thing, and such a morale booster. D also had a transfusion last week, so both our men are energised up for Christmas! I hope you both have a restful and pleasant time, and D and I send you our love and best wishes xx

Good morning Tina and D, A top up of the red stuff certainly makes a difference Peter looks like his dear old Mum did when she had been on the sherry.

Seasons Greetings to you both with wishes for warm Love & Cuddles.
