It was touch and go whether Peter would get to the gig . We had to stop off at A&E to exclude brain bleed. and he was to tired to even get dressed.
But he was determined he wanted to see The Darkness and he got his wish. O.K so he had to be taken in before the crowds and sat in the front row of the circle rather than headbanging and shoving in the standing crowd below.
He was so happy to be there, and it did rev him up he was awake til the early hours playing air guitar ........... at least he didn't try the headstands.
Tomorrow Peter will have an MRI of his head, CT full body, Blood Tests at The Marsden instead of the Brompton. we will get the results on 16th.
We have been told by well meaning relatives that Peter should be just resting at home now.......... because something might happen when we are out.....................
Well that's had us in stitches because I left home aged 16 to start my nursing career. I lived in a nurses home with 18 girls aged 16-18 Home Sister ruled. we had to be in by 9pm because to quote her
"Things happen after 9pm"..........................................
She came round each room every night saying
"All in bed, lights out",
"Yes sister" we would chime covering for the girls who were still out, enjoying things happening before being let in quietly via the windows.
So Peter and I will keep going as long as he wants to.
After all whats the worst that can happen........................................
