Monday ...We attended Peter's Chemotherapy cycle 5 appointment at The Royal Marsden Chelsea today.
We explained to the Dr that Peters ability to swallow is rapidly getting worse and is now limited to liquids. The Dr was amazing in a heartbeat she had Peter canulated and sent up for CT scan,
while he had that she put him on the next operating list at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital ( Thursday) booked him for pre-op platelet transfusion on Wednesday.
Wow the speed and ease she propelled us through was awsome and welcome as we were fearing the worst.
CT report shows the stent that had gone walkabout has snapped and is blocking tumour so that is why he cannot get food down. The tumour has not got bigger so 5th chemo and herceptine rebooked for Monday phew
Game on again......................................... Thursday they will go stent fishing ,and maybe replace it.
