Peter's pain was returning so he had a symptom review at our local Pilgrims Hospice He has been prescribed a course of alternative therapy and his Fentanyl Patch dose has been doubled to 25mcg with such good effect. He even went out on Friday night for a couple of games of snooker with his mates.
Yes he looks ill, and they get a bit windy but they all have my number and know I will be there in a few minutes if they call. I drop him off and pick him up and believe It is paramount not to worry or dwell on this damn disease,
There is no point him going through all the chemo RT etc to sit and wait to go 'home' .It is heartwarming to see Peter so chuffed when he has made it out with the lads.
I believe we have stood up again for another round of skittles with the madness and cruelty of cancer.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
