What on earth happend to my holistic care of Peter? He set off alone to have an echocardiogram while I had a day off and a girly lunch hit The Hut for pizza ( felt a bit guilty eating what he cannot )
Peter returned saying all went well but his feet hurt, I really didn't take much notice I concentrate on the other end i.e can he swallow, is his weight stable.is his colour good is he moisturizing.
The following day I finally noticed he was walking really oddly so took a peep at his feet......
OMG huge blisters covering the balls of both feet and the bottom of some of his toes........
I wonder wether the chemo has made his feet more sensitive, allthough he has admitted he got lost in London and walked a long way,and had taken the insoles out of his shoes before he left......................
Any way now I am in overdrive trying to ensure they heal and don't get infected. we are off to rock n Roll next weekend should be interesting with these feet.
