Peter had a brisk bleed from the picc line insertion site this morning, quite scary and very worrying as a 2 units transfusion was given yesterday so in and straight back out. His hb will be checked tomorrow morning.
I was shocked at how unprepared local services were to deal with this and it took many phone calls by the Dr for guidance and me breaking down in tears before he got action.
At least we are back home now and hes sleeping peacefully.
