Hythe Venetian Fete was brilliant, Peter and I had never been before, but heard it was good, well it was such fun, a carnival on water, each float was pulled up the canal by a man in a row boat, they went up in daylight, after dark an enormous firework display, then floats came back down the canal all lit up,. Bands played, there was a fun fair and lots of stalls on the banks, we sat on the tow path enjoying fish n chips and a couple of beers, wonderful, crawled into bed at 1am.zzzzzzzzzz .didn't do much next day tho......
Rain prevented our third flight attempt re-booked for mid September.
Peter is very happy with his weight gain and is now busting out of his new smaller clothes ha !!!! thank goodness I hadn't got rid of any thing . We have decided he is finally in touch with his feminine side, as his wardrobe contains clothes in many different sizes to accommodate his fluctuating weight. and he has developed a close relationship with the bathroom scales. plus he has a three week cycle.....
It was that time of the month yesterday,up to London on the 05.15 for 9am Bloods. 10.30 Drs. 13.30 Herceptin amazingly they manage to see everyone pretty much on time and we were back home by 17.00. Peter is doing well Muga scan and bloods fine. and he looks and feels well. just gets a bit tired and is a bit slower but we all slow down as we age any way so no worries on that score.
He has passed a few black stools recently, which may indicate some gastric bleeding, the plan is a non urgent endoscopy.
