Peters swallowing has continued to be a problem so we thought tumour was still gowing . had CT scan and Dr said the passage through the tumour was very narrow it may be sqeezing the stent she said it didnt look as if the chemo was working and said radiotherapy might be needed. She said an emergency meeting would be held later to review the scans etc and plan the best way forward.
This was a real blow as we have done just about everything possible to help this chemo work.
Well we decided not to stay in London as planned and headed home while the great and the good ponderd over the scan and plan.
we celebrated the rotten news with a nice sloppy meal, hot bath and a good nights kip, suitabley refreshed set off for the result today .

Wow what a differnce a day makes.Peters stent has dropped and is laying in the bottom of his stomach. so the tumour has shrunk a bit as he can eat which pre-stent he couldn't.
He's had IV Chemo and Herceptin today and will continue with oral chemo for three weeks, hopefully the tumour will shrink enough for him to undergo retreval of the stent
.Our youngest daughter wants to take us to the 02 to see Meatloaf .todays events make it more likely that Peter will be fit enough to go and enjoy it :)
Yet again we have come through on a wing and a prayer xx
