We are in Dexamethasone and Mirtazapine heaven :))
Peter weight loss continued as he had all but given up eating so on Tuesday he commenced a short course of kick ass D&M.
Its fantastic he has not stopped eating, I am loving cooking and getting an empty plate back, plus he is grazing between meals.
His oesophagus is patent and he can swallow but It is so difficult when the chemo and RT give such an aversion to food, hopefully we will have broken the cycle and he will continue to eat when the D&M course has finished.
So all is well here PICC has settled in nicely, Pain is well controlled with new strength patch and the twice daily Tinzaparin injections are controlling the clots. He has a hospice review tomorrow and Scans are all booked in for next week so we will stay at the hospital for a couple of nights.
The trial that Peter is on has finally started paying for our travel which is great as cancer eats away at the savings.
Take care and Huge HUGS to you all Mushty X
