And it was all going so well.

Less than one minute read time.
After completing the first week of radiotherapy, Peter had a heart attack on Saturday 29.03.14. Its best I don't even try to describe the diagnosis treatment and care he received at two local hospitals !!!!!!!!! The subsequent days and nights were distressing and frustrating, which resulted in our youngest daughter and myself bringing Peter to The Marsden on Monday ,thank goodness we did as he had been completely misdiagnosed . However onwards we go. He is now under the care of The Royal Brompton, Chemo has been stopped, Radiotherapy continues to minimise GI bleed risk as RBH need to give high dose anticoagulants Peter is quite nauseas and sick, very tired but not in pain His care is excellent here and a planning meeting is convened for next Tuesday with RMH &RBH when all test results are in.
