Peter has started palliative chemotherapy (yipee)
It went well only slight nausea headache and shivers from herceptin,we stayed at the hospital overnight ( they have cheap bookable accomodation) then he had chemo the following day we intended to stay another night in case Peter had any problems but he felt fine and bad weather was closing in so we grabbed his take home meds and oral chemo and headed home.
Its just lovely to be here today snuggled up in the warm looking out at the snow. Peter can eat soft mashed diet now so meals are nicer and fingers crossed we will not have to go back to hosptal for 3 weeks,
