Chemo is starting on the 28th May.
Pre assessment is on Wednesday then I’m starting 6 rounds of FEC-T every 21 days. 3 cycles of FEC to start with (fluorouracil, cyclophosphamide & docetaxel and then 3 cycles of T (Taxotere) for a finisher.
I feel relieved that I’ve got a date and we are just getting this done now. The consultant said that my lump had got bigger (up to 8cm now) so we are all systems go with blasting the shit out of it. It is causing dark bruising on my skin where it’s moved and grown and taken out some blood vessels on the way.
It feels like a red-hot golf ball had been put into my boob. Apparently, that’s just what it does. Whoever created the phrase ‘cancer doesn’t hurt’ needs to check themselves asap. Total bullshit.
Mine is killing me (literally).
