I’m running up that hill

Less than one minute read time.

Today, 7 of my best girls completed the 10k Newcastle Race For Life. We had planned to all complete the race together and raise some cash for this amazing cause that desperately needs funding.

I obviously cheered them on from my hospital bed with a cocktail.

If anyone would like to show the girls and Cancer Research UK some additional support, I would love it if you could do it on our group page On Wednesday’s We Wear Pink

  • Excellent, great cause and hopefully they had fun and not too hot!

  • So many thoughts milling through my brain after these last two blogs.  A lump in my throat.  Respect for your upbeat blog, thank you.  I've been reticent to post, in case I type the wrong thing.  Cancer really is a b****r and you are too young for this sh1t.  But this cause and your contribution to this community cannot be ignored.  Remember that for everyone posting and impacted by your story, many more just read and experience the peer support.  We are all behind you and your team.  Great costumes and Wednesday mantra.  Wishing you all the best xXx

  • Not been on here for a while as Mount Vesuvius decided to erupt from my scar and knock me for six!  Battling infection for 3 weeks  but nothing compared to what your going through.  Stay strong and sending positive thoughts to you.

  • Am still very much with you on your journey. Sending you much love. Hoping that pain is under good control and that you are still able to enjoy a drink x
