So far so good. Chemo started yesterday and apart from them having trouble with my veins (they didn't want to play) all was ok. Glad I'll have a portacath by the next lot.

Felt a bit sick in the night, but nothing I couldn't cope with. Hope it stays that way!

    Hi there.  glad the first chemo went well.  do listen to your body and rest whenever you need.

    I have a portacath and its amazing.... mine wont give blood but takes the chemo and its the canullas that i hate so alls well.

    I have my 5th chemo thursday - had a terrible time after the last one (docetaxil) but am assured it will be better this time.
