I am feeling okay I keep walking I will be glad to go back to swimming .I'm also going to try a Yoga class and aquafit for cancer patients when I have finished .January has been a miserable month so we went away to stay at Statford apon Avon last week a little treat perhaps I would have been off to the sun if I was not on chemo never mind I am here and well. I had lost alot of my hair even though I wore cold hat last week I thought IT looked awful a white dry bit on top so I got Paul to take it all off as I was having to hoover all my hats often so I thought it better gone but I did not realise I still had alot at the back now I always have a cold head dispite all my hats I made a nice warm fleece hat for bed covers my ears so thats better. I feel the cold so.roll on summer hope to have some more hair by then.

Hello Haze - good idea going back to swimming, as it's fantastic exercise, isn't it? Yoga is also good for soothing frayed nerves etc, so you go for it. As for the hair; I can empathise with you. I started to lose mine after my second chemotherapy, when it fell off all over the place; on pillows, cushions etc, so I got my wingless angel Mick to shave it all off, much more comfortable, though draughtier, lol It started to grow back in again quite nicely, when it was decided to give me radiotherapy to the head - then, it all fell out again, roots an' all. By this time I had become used to seeing Kojak look back at me from my bathrorom mirror, but I got by with a couple of cheap wigs and LOTS of hats, scarves and baseball caps. It's just started growing back again, like a baby's fuzz - so I'm hoping no clever clogs is going to come up with another bright idea which may mean it all coming out again. Glad you manage to keep your wee ears nice and warm at night - I too have a bed cap which covers my ears, nice and snug. I wish you all the very best for your continued recovery, with lots of love    kate xxxxxxx
