Emotions running riot over the weekend. Poor hubby got both barrels with knobs on!!! I guess now that I start chemo on Friday it is all sinking in just how much of a fight I will have on my hands and hubby cant ‘fix’ me ARGHHHHHHHHHH why not – he has always fixed things right in the past.

hi ann , can understand you emotion's totaly i have been there different cancer but we all understand the scary thought of chemo . you are right love hubby can't fix this for you but he can be there to love you help you .hold you ,listen to you etc all these thing's ann will be his way of helping the great team of chemo nurse,s & specalist's to fix you as you say . just want to wish you good luck for friday . i am sure when you get your first one the nerves will settle take care love n hug's theresa xxx
Hubby can't fix it - oh how those words ring true. My husband is a very active 'I can fix it' type and they feel so lost when they can't. He will probably feel better if you set down exactly what he can do to help you - even if it's something daft like cleaning out the budgie cage or cleaning the silver! Since I've been having treatment my husband has become a whizz with the vacuum cleaner and has claimed total control of the dish-washing. Very best wishes for your treatment and any time you want a rant or rave - we are here to listen.
Not sure I can 'deal' with this.... got a copy of the oncologist report today... I wanted to know exactly what's going on with my body.... Not sure if I want to know any more... things don't look good. Ovaries, liver, lymph nodes (anybody else want to take a pot!). Sorry feeling very angry with this whole bloody situation!!!!!!!
